Powered by a Rossi .40 bought for $53.00 on ebay. Owen tells me
it runs hard on an 8 x 9 prop.

Owen Cameron has just finished his vintage Rat Racer, A Tor Rat from a 1960's plan. Power is by an OS .40 FSR. We await the test flight.

Owen Cameron's old Tazy Rat rat racer has been resurrected after a prang many months ago. Same wing and tail with a new fuselage, revamped fuel shut-off and a lot less sensitive control setup.

Note the internal bellcrank and lead-outs.

Peter Allen's Rat Racer.

Peter's only about 6 months too late with this model, but, better late than never!
Very tidy build.  Let's see if it goes as good as it looks. I'm sure it will.

Tassie Simple Rat Racing.

The first Simple Rat Race event is to be held on the 3rd March, 2012. Probably at the Richmond field or Tony Gray's place. Owen Cameron, Tony Gray and myself have built some Rat Racers. I test flew mine recently and apart from the fuel shut-off being a bit sticky, it flew like a dream.  The fuel shut-off has since been fixed.
